A Microsoft has released a new update for Subscribed Members of the Insider Program on the Canary Channel of Windows 11. However, the update is one of those that has no new features, improvements or bug fixes.
The official build number of this Canary Channel version is 25336.1010 (KB5026292). As noted in a Windows Insider’s own Twitter post, this variant is only designed to test the service pipeline.
Microsoft has previously stated that small updates like this one on the Canary Channel wouldn’t get a big blog post like other Windows Insider builds, which detail what’s new added to the operating system.
The last major Canary Channel release was made on April 7th. Even so, this update was quite minor with build number 25336. This update added some changes and improvements to Windows 11 settings.
Among the novelties added in version 25336 of Windows 11 is a new option that allowed PC owners with two video cards and no integrated graphics chips to set one of them as the default for their device.
