The software giant is rolling out a new update to all PCs registered with the Windows Insider program. In short, it is available on all channels and targets the “Windows Subsystem for Android” component of Windows 11.
Downloading and installing it allows the module to evolve into version 2308.40000.3.0. It proposes improvements and improves the reliability of the system and graphics. In detail, Microsoft lists four highlights.
Without going into details, the firm promises an improvement in the reliability of the platform, “Localhost loopback” support through the experimental “Access to local network” functionality. At the same time, the clipboard gains in reliability and performance. Finally there is a kernel update to improve compatibility of ARM applications running on x64 configurations.
This update has been available since September 20. Microsoft invites users and developers to use the Feedback Hub in case of problems.
