Microsoft has released Moment 2, which introduces a slew of new features to Windows 11, including Bing AI chat integration in the taskbar, Phone Link for iOS, widget extension, voice recording, and more. notch in Snipping Tool and a new version of the Quick Assist app, to name a few.
But while Microsoft is doing its best to make the new operating system more appealing to potential users, Windows 11’s share remains low.
According to the latest figures from StatCounter, in February Windows 11 gained just over a percentage point, from 18.12% to 19.13%. Slow but steady improvement
However, well above it, Windows 10 has gained a huge market share. It jumped from 68.86% in January to 73.31%, an improvement of 4.45 percentage points.
Much of this growth has come at the expense of Windows 7, which has lost 4.21 percentage points and now sits at 5.34%, a heck of a drop.
