The Windows 11 operating system will receive an update that will impact the PC experience for gamers and professionals. In particular, the interface of the “Color Management” panel will be updated, writes the VideoCardz portal.
Since the release of Windows 11, Microsoft has continued to improve the OS, introducing new features and getting rid of the outdated design of some elements, reminiscent of the Windows XP era. In the latest builds of Windows 11 (26052), which are distributed in the Canary and Dev channels as part of the Windows Insider program, Microsoft introduced an updated Color Management panel with clearer settings. Now the system will be able to automatically select the most suitable color profile for specific applications. The settings for selecting color display profiles for each individual monitor connected to the PC will also become clearer and simpler.
This update may be especially important for professionals who need to ensure perfect color reproduction in their work applications. The updated panel also has a built-in color calibration function.
To access the updated panel, you must be a member of the Windows Insider program. The panel itself is located under Settings > System > Display > Color Management. It can also be found through Windows internal search.
