01Use Windows settings
There are currently two places in Windows 11 that allow you to change the appearance of the mouse cursor. On the one hand you will find it in the Windows settings. To do this, right-click the Start button and select settings. Alternatively, you can also use the shortcut Windows-Key + i to use.
Then type in the search box at the top left cursor and choose from the displayed hits cursor type. In the following dialog you can in the section cursor adjust the cursor. There are four options for color: White (Standard), Schwarz, inverted and Custom. The latter offers the most flexibility as you can even mix your own shade. The size of the mouse cursor can be influenced directly below using a slider.

In the settings switch to the search field. There you type in “mouse pointer” and select the hit “mouse pointer type”. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
In the next dialog, you can first adjust the cursor color in the “Mouse pointer” section. There are four designs to choose from. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
The custom theme offers both the ability to customize the mouse cursor with recommended colors and to mix your own tint. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
In addition to the color, the size of the mouse pointer can also be influenced using a slider. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
There is another way to change the appearance of the mouse cursor. To do this, click on “Mouse” under the “Related Settings” section. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
On the next dialog page, follow the “Additional mouse settings” link. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
In the new window, switch to the “Pointers” tab. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
Then open the drop-down menu below “Scheme”. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
After that you can choose from different cursor designs in the list. - Windows 11, Version 22H2
When you have found the desired display form, click on the OK button.
02Use related settings
From this page you can also reach the second place where you can change the mouse pointer. To do this, scroll down a bit and open below Related settings the area Maus. In the following dialog, also switch to the related settings and click on Additional mouse settings.
Then a window of the old Control Panel opens with the title Properties of mouse. There switch to the tab pointer and then click below Schema on the drop down menu. Now you can choose different cursor themes from the list. When you have found the appropriate display form, click on the OK button so that your changes are applied.
