“Discovering devices under Nearby Sharing when sharing a local file from Desktop, File Explorer, Photos, Snipping Tool, Xbox, and other apps that use the Improved built-in Windows share window using UDP (network must be set to private) with Bluetooth to discover nearby devices. Now you’ll be able to discover and share on more devices, including desktop COMPUTERS.”
At the same time, it is now possible to upload files to OneDrive directly from the sharing applet integrated into the operating system.
The firm specifies
“When you share a local file from Desktop, File Explorer, Photos, Snipping Tool, Xbox, and other apps that use the built-in Windows sharing window, you You can choose OneDrive as the target to directly upload the file to OneDrive and further share it with access control options. All of this can be done directly from the local file share in File Explorer without any context switching or opening the OneDrive app.”
