To use Windows 11, you need a PC running Windows 10 and, as long as it is compatible with the operating system (which is not necessarily always the case), you can install the update normally offered by the OS. Or, we buy a brand new PC with Windows 11. But Microsoft did not offer a “box” version of the software, at least the publisher had not announced anything official.
It turns out, however, that you can find Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro in the form of a USB key enclosed in a good old cardboard packaging! You can even buy them on Amazon at the respective prices of 159 € et 235 €, with delivery between May 11 and 13. Prices that differ slightly from Windows 10 licenses (€145 for Windows 10 Home, €259 for Windows 10 Professional).
According to the retailer, these boxes are in fact available since April 12, in the most perfect of discretions. The final version of Windows 11 was released in last october.
