When Zeid Hassim decided to buy this castle in 2012, he had no project in mind. He simply wants to have fun, to please the inhabitants of the area, to promote a heritage dear to his heart and to his adopted country. His way of saying “Thank you”.
Of Indian origin, Mr. Hassim grew up in Madagascar. In 1977 he arrived in France to join a Toulouse high school. He will become a technology teacher in Castres for 4 years. Then quickly, he left the public service to create his company. From his reckless risks and his tenacity, he develops his business in import-export to Madagascar. This company will become one of the most flourishing in the region in a few years. Close to retirement, this simple and generous man decided to buy the Château de la Garrigue to make it a place of welcome and sharing.
His sons, Idris, Danyl and Rayan and his wife Anita will follow him in this project as crazy as it is beautiful and endearing. After 6 years of work during which the historic building has been completely renovated and brought up to standard, the Château is finally opening its doors.
Why a violin-shaped swimming pool and a piano-shaped room? Quite simply to be original and prolong the story of Honorine GASC (1802-1875), singer and pianist who lived at the Château.
Game available from August 08 to 16, 2022 inclusive
