Czech Marketa Vondrousova and Ons Jaber from Tunisia reached the final of the Wimbledon women’s draw.

Vondrousova became the first unseeded tennis player since 1963 to reach the Wimbledon final. In the semi-finals, she defeated Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, who received a wild card, with a score of 6:3, 6:3. In the final, her opponent will be the second Zhaber, who beat the second seed of the tournament Arina Sobolenko from Belarus – 6:7, 6:4, 6:3.

At Wimbledon 1963, American Billie Jean Moffitt (later King) reached the final, where she lost to Margaret Smith (later Court) of Australia.
