Williams F1 signs multi-year sponsorship agreement with Duracell[F1-Gate .com]

Williams F1 has announced that it has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Duracell for the 2022 season.

Duracell, a leading American battery maker, has grown from its roots in the 1920s to a name that is familiar to every household as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-performance alkaline batteries, specialty cells, and rechargeable batteries.

With this deal, the Duracell logo will be prominently displayed on Williams F1 cars throughout the season, as well as on Team Kits and the race suits of Alexander Albon and Nicholas Latifi.

Williams Racing team principal and CEO Jost Capito said he was pleased with the partnership with Duracell and also explained why the deal has a personal connection.

“We are very proud of this partnership between Williams and Duracell, and we are grateful for the trust and confidence they have given us,” commented Jost Capito.

“It’s a personal highlight for me to put their name on the side of our car. My nickname was Duracell for 30 years because I didn’t run out of energy. I can work together. I’m really looking forward to it. “

Williams F1 announced the 2022 F1 machine “FW44” on February 15th (Tuesday). We have released a teaser image with a completely new coloring that carries the Diracell logo.
