Will transfer power to whichever party forms the government: Caretaker PM

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that the people of Pakistan will vote for any party including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and if their government is formed, we will have to transfer power to them, we have no option.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said in a private TK program that the results of the military trial may come out during the coming government period, the punishment of the May 9 incidents should not be given to the entire party but only to those responsible. Even during the caretaker period, there can be a military trial of those involved.

Anwar Haq Kakar said that there is no intention to treat the entire PTI as an enemy. Those involved in the events of May 9 should be punished. Caretaker Prime Minister said that many people are hiding regarding May 9. Until they surrender, there will be obstacles in their political process.

The Prime Minister was asked whether the PTI founder was personally involved in the events of May 9. In response, he said that I do not have any information yet to form an opinion on it.

Anwar Haq said that before forming an opinion, I understand that this is a judicial process. Can’t determine punishment based on different intelligence reports.

The Prime Minister said that I voted for PTI in 2013 and 2018 and will not vote now. By the evening of February 8 or the morning of February 9, it will be known who the people voted for.

He said that the caretaker government is taking steps for the betterment of the country. People will choose their representatives in elections.

Anwar Haq said that the Leader of the House and the Leader of the Opposition agreed on my name for the Caretaker Prime Minister. I was told not by Raja Riaz but by Prime Minister House.
