The biggest problem with this trade is probably the low counterparty released by Dallas, knowing that the Wolves rained down the trumps to acquire Rudy. A year later, it is very unlikely to see Minnesota give up their French, especially for this price…
Knowing that Dallas needs a top pivot, especially since Christian Wood should not return, the transaction is advantageous for the Texas franchise. Only problem ? Rudy’s contract, which is widely debated among supporters.
