WILL POWER WINS IN DETROIT IN INDYCAR

For the last race on the Belle Isle track, next year there will be a new track in Detroit – in the past the F1s rolled around the Renaissance Center down town – Will Power takes his third victory

The Australian pilot of Team Penske triumphs in front of the American Alex Rossi of Andretti – finally back in business – Alexander Rossi and the New Zealander of the Chip, Scott Dixon.

Will which indicated:

« of a partI did not need to have an overrun lightning and destroy my tires. I was very aware and drove very straight and very focused. I might have attacked at the end. It was a job well done by the team. I was a little worried when we put on the rubbers blacks-blacks, and I was like, “Man, are we saving the reds for last? I hope there are no yellows. But an all-green race? Crazy, huh

And thanks to his success Power seizes at the same time the championship lead ahead of Marcus Ericsson for three points.´

Top 5 for Josef Newgarden the American and for Pato O’Ward the Mexican who has just resigned and extended at McLaren!

Then follow and in order, the defending champion the Spaniard Alex Palou, followed by the winner last Sunday of the Indy 500, the Swede Marcus Ericsson.

Colton Herta ranks eighth ahead of Frenchman Simon Pagenaud ranked ninth.

Felix Rosenqvist finishes ten. The second Frenchman Romain Grosjean finished seventeenth.
