The movie “Kira Waljen” achieved revenues at the cinema box office, amounting to 74 million pounds, 20 days following its release.
Three films compete in the lead in cinemas during the Eid al-Adha season, which are: (Kira Waljen), (I love you) and (Uncle), so that the movie (Kira Waljen) topped the box office revenues during the last period.
The movie (Kira Waljen) is inspired by the novel (1919), by the author Ahmed Murad, who wrote the script and dialogue, directed by Marwan Hamed, and starring Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Hind Sabry, Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Malik, Ali Qassem, Hoda Al-Mufti, Mohamed Abdel The great, Arefa Abdel Rasoul and Tamer Nabil, in addition to the presence of some foreign actors at work.
The events of the film take place in the second decade of the twentieth century, specifically in 1919 during the revolution of Saad Zaghloul, and star Karim Abdel Aziz embodies the character of the doctor (Ahmed Abdel Hai), a real character who was present during the period of the British occupation of Egypt, and his fame was at the time (Ahmed Kira), During the events, he meets (Abdul Qader Shehata Al-Jin), the character embodied by the star Ahmed Ezz, and they become close friends, and participate in confronting the English occupation.
It is expected that the revenues of (Kira Waljen) will exceed 100 million pounds, especially since the film achieved more than 70 million pounds in less than a month, which is an indication of a record increase in revenues.
