Kardashian continued her visits to Madrid, as she published photos inside the Spanish club’s headquarters, and took photos with many players, most notably Jude Bellingham, and she also met with the club’s president, Florentino Perez.
Real Madrid fans’ concerns appeared after seeing pictures of Kim with the players, during their comments on social media, fearing that Kim’s curse would strike the royal club, the Spanish League and Champions League title holder last season, who is waiting for more in the new season after the arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
The story of the so-called “Kardashian curse” began when she attended the second leg of the Europa League round of 16 match between Arsenal and Sporting Clube de Portugal.
While Kardashian was cheering for Arsenal, Sporting Club eventually advanced, after penalty kicks, and the team was eliminated from the Europa League.
Arsenal were close to winning the Premier League title before collapsing at the end of last season, and fans linked the Gunners’ decline to Kim’s visit to the Emirates Stadium, the home of the London club.
English network CBS Sports also linked Arsenal’s poor performance to Kim Kardashian’s visit last March, as the team has collected only 15 points out of a possible 30 since then.
The same thing happened in Paris, after she attended to watch Paris Saint-Germain during their trip to Europe, where the French team suffered a shock home defeat to Rennes. The “Kardashian curse” has been mentioned repeatedly in Hollywood circles outside of football, with a rumour that all of Kim’s ex-partners are cursed after a breakup and their lives go downhill afterwards.
It is noteworthy that Kim Kardashian appeared with her son, last Friday evening, with Real Madrid star, Vinicius Junior, at his palace in Spain, according to what was shown in photos published by the Brazilian player on his Instagram account.
