**Interview with Will Ferrell on “Street Justice”**
**Interviewer:** Will, it’s great to have you here! Excitement is building for your upcoming film “Street Justice.” What can you tell us about the story and your character?
**Will Ferrell:** Thanks for having me! In “Street Justice,” I play an everyday guy who decides to take matters into his own hands in a very humorous way. It’s all about how someone ordinary can step up and, well, awkwardly try to bring justice to the streets. There’s a lot of room for comedy in those situations!
**Interviewer:** It sounds like a fresh take on a familiar genre. Working with Peter Atencio—who has such a strong background in comedy—how do you think that will shape the film’s tone?
**Will Ferrell:** Peter is fantastic! He has a real knack for blending humor with heart. His experience with shows like “Key & Peele” makes me feel confident that he’ll bring a layer of cleverness to the film. I think audiences will appreciate the balance of laughs and the story’s underlying message.
**Interviewer:** You’re also producing “Street Justice.” How different is the experience for you, stepping behind the scenes compared to just acting?
**Will Ferrell:** Producing is a whole new ball game! It adds a different level of involvement—I’m digging into the storytelling process and working closely with our talented team. Collaborating with Jessica Elbaum and David Koplan is exciting; we’re all aligned on making this project the best it can be.
**Interviewer:** You’ve worked on a lot of projects, but “Street Justice” is quite different. What drew you to this script by Dave Callaham?
**Will Ferrell:** Dave’s writing is sharp and relatable. He takes mundane situations and elevates them into something ridiculous and funny. The idea of normal people trying to do extraordinary things—with hilariously disastrous results—really resonated with me.
**Interviewer:** You’ve mentioned your recent work in “Will & Harper.” How does that versatility in projects influence what you bring to “Street Justice”?
**Will Ferrell:** Every project teaches you something new. “Will & Harper” allowed me to explore different aspects of my personality and comedy. I think that versatility helps me bring fresh ideas to “Street Justice.” The key is to keep things feeling authentic while also making people laugh.
**Interviewer:** We’re all looking forward to seeing it. What’s your hope for audiences when they watch “Street Justice”?
**Will Ferrell:** I hope they leave the theater laughing and feeling a bit lighter. It’s about finding joy in the absurdity of everyday situations. Plus, if we can make people think for a second about justice in a comedic way, then we’ve done our job right!
**Interviewer:** Sounds like a fun ride! Thanks for sharing, Will. We can’t wait to see “Street Justice”!
**Will Ferrell:** Thank you! I’m excited for everyone to see it.
