There are good indications that Angel Di Maria, the star of the Argentine national team, will be able to catch up in the upcoming friendly match against our UAE team.
It is scheduled to host the “Zayed Sports City Stadium” in the capital, Abu Dhabi, the meeting on the 16th of next November.
The friendly will come as part of Al-Obeid’s preparations for the upcoming benefits, the first of which is “Gulf 25”, while Tango will prepare for the 2022 World Cup.
Di Maria was injured during the match of his Italian team, Juventus, against Maccabi Haifa, in the fourth round of the European Champions League.
The 34-year-old had to leave the pitch, as he did not witness his team’s 2-0 defeat.
In an official statement, Juventus confirmed that Di Maria had suffered a “minor injury to the hamstring muscle of the right leg.”
The statement added that the star, born in the Argentine city of Rosario, “will need approximately 20 days to fully recover.”
According to estimates, Di Maria will return to the stadiums during the first week of next November, which is supposed to make him eligible for the friendly match against our UAE team.
