It is recalled that yesterday at midnight, similar scenes of violence also unfolded at a party in Grigoriou Lambrakis square, in Korydallos, where about ten people were caught hand in hand as the dispute became general and three people were injured, among them a minor.

Among the injured was the deputy mayor of Korydallos, Charalambos Tsirakidis, who was attacked during the fierce fight while approaching the scene in order to calm the spirits.

A fight at a fair

“I have no idea how and why the fight started. I was sitting on the opposite side and went to see what was happening. We were together with other people from the Municipality and we saw that something was happening and went to separate them. As soon as they saw us approaching, me and the other deputy mayor, they started throwing tables and chairs at us. I don’t even remember how many people there were,” said Mr. Tsirakidis to protothema.gr, who was hospitalized with injuries to his left arm and back.

The second vice-mayor of Korydallos was also transferred to the Attica Hospital, who paid the fury of the youths with a head wound from an object thrown at him.

It is noted, at the same time, that a 16-year-old minor arrived with his father for a statement at the police station and it became known that during the argument the child was punched. However, he did not wish to go to the hospital, with the ambulance arriving and giving him first aid.
