The public order office has cordoned off all six entrances to the park and is now monitoring the situation. Pedestrians and people who usually walk their dogs here should avoid the area as far as possible. The animals are aggressive because they want to protect their offspring. Employees of the public order office had to save themselves from the wild boars on playground equipment in the park.

Search party to find wild boar

A hunter assumes that the wild boar will probably only come out once more in the late evening or at night when it is quieter in the settlement around the park. Then a search party with dogs and thermal imaging cameras moves through the green areas.

Elementary school students had to stay indoors

The gang can also have moved on long ago. The three mother animals aggressively defend their young and had already pursued employees of the public order office in the morning. In principle, however, they are not a danger to the adjacent school and daycare center. As a precaution, the children had nevertheless spent their breaks inside today.

Hunter is on site

The hunter constantly assesses the situation. He assumes that the animals will later return to the adjacent forest area of ​​their own accord. However, this can only be the case in the evening hours.

No danger at the moment

According to the city of Hagen, there is currently no danger from the animals. Residents, passers-by and drivers should nevertheless be careful and avoid encountering the wild boar at all costs.
