Dubai: The ‘Viruthan’ airline became a headache following it got out of the cargo hold on the plane. The airline finally apologized. The incident took place on a passenger flight from Baghdad to Dubai.
The bear cub that jumped out of the cargo hold of the Iraqi Airlines flight delayed the flight. After the cub jumped out, the crew coordinated with the UAE authorities to sedate the bear on arrival in Dubai and release it from the plane. Then the return journey of the same flight from Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport to the Iraqi capital was delayed. The airline apologized to passengers for the delay.
Iraqi Airlines Company apologizes to passengers on the flight from Baghdad International Airport to Dubai Airport due to reasons beyond the company’s control, the airline said in a statement on its website.

Saudi Arabia has emerged as the world’s highest paying country for expatriate middle managers in the ‘MyExpatriate Market Pay Survey’ by international consultancy Employment Conditions Abroad (ECA). Saudi Arabia has been selected as the country with the highest salaries for middle managers in the world in a survey conducted on the working conditions of expatriates.
An expatriate middle manager in Saudi Arabia earns an annual salary of £83,763, which is Rs 88,58,340. According to the survey, this is 20,513 pounds (Rs. 21,69,348) more than in the UK. The survey shows that the highest salary is still in Saudi Arabia, although there has been a decrease of three percent compared to the previous year. ECA considered three main factors in the survey namely cash salary, benefit allowances and taxes.
