It is “the best iPhone ever built by Apple,” said Tim Cook, director of the company, a few days ago. On this point, it is impossible to contradict him: the iPhone 15, on sale since Friday, obviously incorporates several improvements compared to the 14 model launched a year ago. But it’s only in small steps that Apple’s phone is progressing, probably this year more than any other. Rarely, or perhaps never, has the iPhone shown so little improvement from year to year. But it may prove to be an interesting option for those, loyal to the Apple brand, who own an iPhone dating from four years or more.

So, what’s new in 2023? First – and Apple hasn’t really communicated on this – is the price. While everything is increasing in the tech field, the first price of the iPhone 15 Pro (1079 francs) is 100 francs cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro a year ago. Let us also point out, and this gesture can be welcomed, that Apple still markets new old phones, such as the 14 and 13 (from 649 francs) as well as the SE model, which in our opinion offers the best quality-price ratio (from 449 francs).
