The “iPhone or iPad” uses frequent iOS or iPadOS updates, and the release of the latest update #15.4 has many encouraging features to upgrade its operating system.

This is the most significant update to iOS 15 to date, and comes with a number of bug fixes, new features, and welcome improvements. New emojis, a new Siri voice, additional options for translating web pages, and more are the three big features of this update. .

universal control

It’s a feature of iPadOS that has nothing to do with iPhones, but it’s pretty cool, and it’s still topping the list of changes. We’ve been waiting for Universal Control since Apple introduced it at its conference last summer.

It’s a feature for people with Macs (with the macOS 12.3 update or later), where you can simply bring the iPad within range of the ac’s Bluetooth, move the mouse pointer past the edge of the screen, and “push” it into the iPad. Your Mac mouse or trackpad and keyboard will then take control of your iPad.

Face ID with mask on

iOS 15.4 introduces a new Face ID feature while wearing a face mask, which essentially requires a face scan that uses more data points on the top half of your face while ignoring the bottom, though it’s less reliable than regular Face ID.

iCloud Keychain Password Improvements

In the iOS 15.4 update, Apple addressed two of the worst password management spots on your iPhone.

First, the Safari browsing app will no longer save passwords if you don’t type in a username. Moreover, it is not enough just to login with your password and username for some sites.

Because with iOS 15.4, notes can be added to saved passwords through Settings, tapping on Passwords, choosing one of your saved logins, and tapping on Add Notes to store a secure piece of text using the user’s iCloud Keychain entry .

And when the person needs access to this additional information, just head to the same passwords tab, authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID, find the entry in the list, and of course, the passwords are also synced to the same person’s Mac, so they can Access his notes on this device as well.
