We usually rush to put on new clothes right away, and many of us take pictures of these beautiful clothes. But there is a dangerous secret that we do not know regarding this matter, which is that we must wash these clothes before wearing them, so what is the reason?
All dyed yarns or fabrics contain chemicals to make them, and these have nasty side effects when they come into contact with your skin. These substances, known as “irritants,” can lead to diseases such as dermatitis and rashes anywhere they come into contact with the skin.
“You should wash your new clothes before wearing them, especially underwear that is in direct contact with the skin and is exposed to perspiration,” clothing manufacturing expert (Lana Hogg) told Elle.
And she continued, “Most fabrics and textiles can be exposed to moisture and mold in manufacturing environments, and to prevent this, the threads are sprayed with anti-mildew, as well as chemicals during the process of weaving the threads into fabrics.”
According to the clothing manufacturing expert, it is possible to spread bacteria, lice and fungi from one person to another when measuring clothes before buying.
Since sweating opens the pores of the skin, this allows your skin to absorb the chemicals in the clothes.
