Despite the 80.7% compatibility that the experts of Married at first sight attributed to them, the atmosphere is not looking good between Michel and Nathalie. During their honeymoon in Corsica, the woman from Marche-en-Famenne, in fact, realized that she would not be able to cross the barrier of physics. “I can’t find Michel attractive, to put the word couple on Michel and me“, she says facing the camera. A feeling that she quickly shared with Michel. “To be completely honest, I don’t see an following in Belgium”, she admits to her husband who “accuse the blow”.

Nathalie decides to end her marriage with Michel but still tries to get to know her partner better. “I tell myself if the marriage doesn’t work out maybe a friendship might be born”, she thinks. During the last one-on-one dinner, Nathalie therefore leaves the door open to Michel but prefers to be sincere. “I’m not friendless as you may have noticedshe told him. It’s not like that so I turn the page and I continue my life”, said Michel before receiving a visit from his nephew Jérôme and describing Nathalie’s personality to him. “She has character, that’s for sure, but it’s more than character. He’s a soldier.”

Invited to a coaching session with Alexandre Destro, expert on the show, several weeks following returning from Corsica, Nathalie empties her bag. “I think back to marriage. I have nightmares“, she admits. “At no time did I feel like I had a man next to me. I always had the impression that it was me who carried the couple.”

She continues: “I should have taken my courage in both hands and said no to the commune. I had in front of me an old gentleman. I did not expect that. He is 55 years old but he is so thin that he looks older than that.”

If at first, Nathalie refuses a confrontation with Michel, she reconsiders her decision for her personal well-being. Their reunion will be to be discovered during the next and last episode of Married at first sight on RTL-TVI.
