Gennady Viktorovich had a chance to feel the arrogance of Natalia Vladimirovna
The famous satirist, artistic director of the Variety Theater and jury member of various talent competitions on television, Gennady Khazanov, at 77, not only does not complain regarding his memory, but also remembers in great detail the biographies of the best football players in the world, the results of matches and the stadiums where they were played. In a video interview with his friend and namesake Rovner, Gennady Viktorovich admitted that he might work as a sports commentator. And he soon added that the only problem he has faced all his life is actress Natalya Varley.
The surname Varley appeared in the most unexpected way in a conversation regarding politics and football between two Gennadievs – Rovner and Khazanov. And in such a funny context that it was hard to believe – isn’t Gennady Viktorovich joking? But he let slip regarding his Achilles heel with an absolutely serious face:
– I might never remember the name of this actress … well, who plays in the “Prisoner of the Caucasus.” What is her name there? Strange surname. And I know where she was filming and that she was the wife of Kolya Burlyaev, – Khazanov shrugged.
– Natalya Varley? – prompted another Gennady.
– Yes, yes, Varley … This Varley – flies out of my head, and that’s it! – the artist was perplexed.
Moreover, she was not only Burlyaev’s first wife, but also Khazanov’s partner in the television movie Margarita is Raging. She played the main role there – a dispatcher at the airport. And Gennady flashed in the episode, portraying a barman.
The tape was released in 1970, when the actress had already broken up with Nikolai Petrovich, and Khazanov had not yet married (although he had already met) with his only wife, Zlata Elbaum.
Varley was already a famous actress, with a huge army of fans, and Khazanov was content with the modest role of a debutant.
– Natasha Varley constantly threw tricks, hooligans and considered herself the smartest and most beautiful. It was true – both smart and beautiful. But arrogant, – said Burlyaev’s second wife, Natalya Bondarchuk, regarding her.
Perhaps Varley insultingly laughed at the “barman” Gena. So much so that he then “forgot” her name. And following 53 years, he does not want to remember.
At one time, Khazanov entered the Shchukin Theater School with Varley. But they didn’t accept him, but they took her
