Star Academy: A Night of Surprises and Suspense!
By Solène Delinger – 6:19 pm, November 08, 2024
Ah, Star Academy – the glittering Hogwarts of pop music! This evening, as the wands of the contestants get waved, we find ourselves shocked to learn that our Saturday night plans have been sneakily moved to Friday! Yes, you read that right; it seems the producers are channeling their inner wizards, changing schedules faster than Houdini escaping from a water tank.
Rugby vs. Reality TV: A Scheduling Scuffle
So, why this abrupt switcheroo, you ask? Well, hold on to your foam fingers! Our beloved TF1 has decided that the nation’s fixation on Star Academy must take a backseat to the French rugby match between France and Japan. Quite cheeky, if you ask me! Rugby on a Saturday? I guess someone decided that tackling and managing high expectations in life are both best done with a solid dose of testosterone—preferably while wearing shorts as tight as the contestants’ vocal cords after a high note.
And because we must keep the excitement rolling, it seems the same fate awaits us next week when our valiant XV of France goes head-to-head with New Zealand. Marks out of ten for creativity in TV scheduling, anyone? But hey, nothing says ‘reality TV’ quite like a few good panic-stricken singing performances crafted under pressure!
Who’s Leaving the Castle? Drama Unfolds
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room or should I say the castle? Who among the daring trio—Maureen, Ulysses, or Noah—will pack their “raucous reality TV suitcase”? Talk about suspense! Will there be tears, dramatic farewells, and perhaps a few misplaced cringe-worthy sound bites? Stay tuned, because the nominees will be defending their spots while belting out the most heartfelt tunes—nothing says “I deserve to stay” like a powerful ballad.
Star-Studded Performances Await
As luck would have it, the evening also promises a glittery gala of performances. We’ve got Clara Luciani, the undeniable godmother of glamour, who’ll be singing a duet with Franck. And if that doesn’t send shivers down your spine, Philippe Katerine is gracing us with her enchanting hit, Luxor j’adore alongside Marine and Ebony. Because, let’s be honest, if someone isn’t crooning their heart out while simultaneously wondering about their life choices, are we even watching Star Academy?
But don’t let the star power lull you into complacency! In a nail-biting twist, each nominee will tackle songs that really make you stand up and take notice. Ulysses will plunge into And in 150 years by Raphael, Maureen will give her all with Beautiful by Christina Aguilera, and Noah will lose himself in Lose Control by Teddy Swims. Good luck to them; let’s hope the judges aren’t taking their criteria from a fortune cookie!
Stay tuned this evening for the clashes, the emotional outbursts, and perhaps an impromptu karaoke scene we all didn’t know we needed. As the castle doors tremble with drama, let’s hope the contestants remember: they may leave with heartbreak, but they’ll always have… an incredible story for their next therapy session!

The fifth “Star Academy” bonus is exceptionally broadcast this Friday evening and not Saturday, as is normally the case. Why this change in programming?
Which of Maureen, Ulysses or Noah will leave the castle of the Star Academy ? If the suspense is at its height, fans of the show will have the answer sooner than expected! The fifth bonus of the Star Ac is in fact exceptionally broadcast this Friday evening from 9:10 p.m. instead of Saturday, as is normally the case. The reason for this change in programming is very simple: TF1 broadcasts the rugby match between France and Japan on Saturday November 9. And it will be the same next week since the XV of France faces New Zealand a week later, on Saturday November 16. The sixth bonus of the Star Ac will therefore be brought forward by one day.
Thomas Dutronc and Clara Luciani present on the prime
This Friday evening, several artists will follow one another on the set of the Star Academy to sing with the students in particular Clara Luciani, godmother of the class, who will sing a duet with Franck, Philippe Katerine will perform her hit Luxor j’adore with Marine and Ebony. Thomas Dutronc will also be present and will cover the song Cacti of his father Jacques with Charles and Maïa. The nominees will defend their place on a song assigned to them: And in 150 years by Raphael for Ulysses, Beautiful by Christina Aguilera for Maureen and Lose Control by Teddy Swims for Noah.
