Senior actress Sadia Imam has said that she regrets not being able to work with well-known actor Faisal Qureshi and always will, even though she will no longer be able to appear on screen as a heroine.
Sadia Imam participated in a private TV program, where she spoke openly about various issues.
He said that his elder sister Alia Imam was employed by Pakistan Television (PTV) and invited him as a guest on a program once, after which his career began.
He said that he started acting at a young age, he started working in advertisements.
In response to a question, Sadia Imam attributed her daughter’s estrangement from Shobar after marriage and said that she had to fulfill her responsibilities as a mother, so she is away from the showbiz screen.
She said that before getting married and becoming a mother, her life was different, now it is different and now she is fulfilling her responsibilities as a mother.
Sadia Imam said that her daughter’s maternal grandfather, grandmother, grandfather, and grandmother have passed away while her father is mostly in Germany, so she cannot leave her daughter alone under any circumstances.
She admitted that she misses showbiz and acting when she is away from the screen and even now when she sees a good role, she wishes that she had played the said role.
In response to another question, Sadia Imam admitted that her age is no longer to appear on the screen as a heroine and the facts should be acknowledged.
Speaking on the same issue, the actress said that she regrets not being able to work with Faisal Qureshi till date.
He said that he started his career with PTV Karachi while Faisal Qureshi started his career with PTV Lahore Center, both of them were at separate centers, therefore they could not work together.
He said that when Faisal Qureshi came to PTV Karachi, she was away from showbiz after getting married, that’s why she couldn’t work with the actor.
While praising Faisal Qureshi, he expressed regret that he could not work with him.
