Scientists have not yet been able to fully define the purpose of dreaming, as it may be just a way to process feelings and thoughts.

Sometimes dreams contain complex details that some can remember clearly and narrate like any situation they have gone through before, and others may wake up with only a small glimpse of their dreams, while some claim that they are not dreaming at all, according to the “Health line” website.

Why don’t some people dream?

It is unlikely that a person will ever have dreams, and if they claim to do so, they may go through a period of not sleeping well or simply cannot remember even a small part of their dreams at all.

Does lack of dreams indicate a health problem?

If a person can not only remember the dream, but sleep well, there is nothing to worry regarding, but if he does not get enough deep sleep daily, it is better to see a doctor.

Lack of sleep can worsen health problems a person already has or worsen general health, and may also be a sign of an underlying problem, such as obstructive sleep apnea or insomnia, that needs to be treated right away.

Tips to follow to remember dreams

1- Before bed, the person should tell himself that he wants to dream and remember those dreams the next day.

2- Put a notebook and a pen next to the bed, and every time a person wakes up, he must write everything he can remember from the dream, even if it is just small or fleeting details.

3- Set the alarm to wake up early, he is more likely to remember the dream at this time.

4- Waiting moments before waking up, and thinking regarding dreams that a person may have seen at night.

5- Deep and good sleep may help you remember dreams better.

6- Avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine in the few hours before bed.

7- Go to bed at the same time and get up at the same time every day.

8- Avoid electronic screens when entering the bedroom.

9- Find something that helps you relax in the hour before bed.
