Sri Lankan cricketer Sheehan Jayasuriya has thanked Pakistan for hosting the ODI and T20 series in a magnificent manner.
10 years ago in March 2009, the Sri Lankan team, which was the victim of a terrorist attack in Lahore, visited Pakistan for the ODI and T20 series, defying threats to visit Pakistan.
The series was held peacefully and successfully in Pakistan where the host team won the ODI series but in the T20 series the Sri Lankan team made a spectacular comeback by sweeping the world number one Pakistan to make the series 0. – 3 had taken his name.
At the end of the tour, Sri Lankan cricketer Sheehan Jayasuriya thanked Pakistan in a unique way.

Wearing the shirt of the Pakistan team that won the World Cup in 1992, Jayasuriya said in his message on social media website Twitter that I thank Pakistan for its hospitality, safe environment, tight security and support.
He said that I am hopeful to come to Pakistan again and it is expected that other countries will also follow our footsteps.
Sri Lanka T20 captain Dasan Shanaka also thanked Pakistan for providing excellent hospitality and security.
He said that I am also thankful to the Pakistani fans for their support and I believe that Pakistan is a safe country for cricket.
