**Interview with Rekha on Her Relationship with Amitabh Bachchan**
**Interviewer**: Thank you for joining us today, Rekha. Your insights into the past relationships in Bollywood are always captivating. Recently, you opened up about your friendship with Amitabh Bachchan and the circumstances that led to its end. Can you share more about that experience?
**Rekha**: Of course. It was a significant phase in both our lives. When Jaya invited me for dinner, I was genuinely surprised by her warm hospitality. I never expected that she would be so welcoming, knowing the history between Amit and me.
**Interviewer**: So, Jaya was aware of your relationship with Amitabh?
**Rekha**: Yes, she knew we shared a bond, but her reaction changed when she realized Amit still had feelings for me. That’s when things became complicated. Jaya made it clear that no matter what, she would never let Amit go.
**Interviewer**: That must have been difficult for you. What prompted you to make the decision to end the friendship with Amitabh?
**Rekha**: After Jaya’s explicit threat, I felt it was best for everyone involved to walk away. I valued our friendship, but the circumstances were too intense, and I believed it was the right thing to do to protect all parties involved.
**Interviewer**: It’s fascinating that even after such a deep connection, you never appeared together on screen again. How do you feel about that decision now?
**Rekha**: It was bittersweet, but I believe some things are better left in the past. We made our choices, and I respect the life Amit has built.
**Interviewer**: Reflecting on this, how do you think public perceptions of personal relationships in the film industry have changed since your time?
**Rekha**: The audience is more open now, but the scrutiny remains intense. Couples and friendships in Bollywood still face challenges, and sometimes, that leads to sacrifices that go unseen.
**Interviewer**: That brings us to an interesting point. Given the complex dynamics of love, friendship, and loyalty in Bollywood, do you think it’s fair to judge celebrities on their personal relationships?
**Rekha**: The debate is essential. While the public has a fascination with our lives, everyone must remember that we are human too, with emotions and vulnerabilities. Judging without understanding is where the trouble begins.
**Interviewer**: Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Rekha. Your experiences indeed offer a unique perspective that many may not consider.
