Why did Corona vaccine manufacturing companies Pfizer and Moderna reject Trump’s invitation?

Pfizer and Moderna, the manufacturers of corona vaccines, have announced a boycott of the summit, rejecting Trump’s invitation.

Pfizer and Moderna, the two major companies producing corona vaccines in America, have boycotted the participation in the vaccine summit, rejecting the invitation of President Donald Trump.

The invitation given by the US President has been named as ‘Vaccine Summit’, the purpose of which is to inform about the measures and progress being taken by the US government regarding Corona prevention.

According to US media reports, President Trump and his administration accused Pfizer of deliberately delaying the release of vaccine results.

Pfizer rejected the US president’s accusation, saying that there was no delay in the development of the vaccine or the release of the results to influence the US presidential election, Trump’s political statement was an attempt to gain public sympathy.

Pfizer executive director Albert Borla responded to the invitation received by the Trump administration saying that no one will participate in the program titled ‘Warp Speed’.

Moderna’s Chief Executive Officer, Staffie Bensel, also declined to attend, saying that “Trump tried to make vaccine development and results a political issue while the company was working for the public.”

Political observers say that Trump is facing worldwide embarrassment due to the boycott of the summit by the companies that manufacture the Corona vaccine.
