Due to terrible weather conditions, the plane with Dahl and his wife might not land at their destination, but landed in some remote village. For two long days, the famous couple was forced to subsist on bread and water in the hope of salvation.
When the plane managed to take off and land at its destination, Dahl immediately attacked the director of the film regarding the Arctic with his fists. In a conversation with journalists, Simonov admitted that until the end of filming he was afraid to approach the angry artist and communicated with him exclusively through his wife.
The creator of the tape admitted that it was unpleasant for him to remember what happened, but he had to. Otherwise, fans would not have known regarding the bad character of Dahl, who was offended by Simonov.
