Bray Wyatt has always been very passionate regarding the characters he’s portrayed in WWE, and he recently opened up regarding why two of them might never see the light of day.
The former two-time Universal champion spoke with Fox Sports’ Ryan Satin regarding The Fiend, an incarnation he says died at WrestleMania 37 and will likely never return. Wyatt later talks regarding his cult leader persona which he used primarily with the Wyatt Family faction. Regarding this character, Wyatt says it would be disrespectful to keep him without his best friend, Brodie Lee who you know in WWE as Luke Harper.
Interview highlights:
He says he can’t do his cult character anymore without Brodie Lee:
For me the Hawaiian shirt, the Bray cult, it can’t be without Brodie [Lee], for me, you know? So I can’t be that without Brodie. It’s just not the same thing. It’s disrespectful to my best friend. It just can’t be without him.
The Fiend died at WrestleMania 37 in Tampa:
The Fiend died that day in Tampa, Florida at WrestleMania. And once more, The Fiend isn’t just a goof in a mask like people think. It’s just ridiculous. For me, it’s so much more and what you see, where all these things came from, you know, or how they sculpt me or how they shaped me as a human being. But he died that day for me and that might never be the case once more. Let’s go.
