Whose voice will be suppressed, how will the scars of oppression be erased?

The account of famous Pakistani director Nabil Qureshi has been suspended by the Twitter management for raising his voice against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.

India’s state terrorism continues in Occupied Kashmir and the Occupied Valley has been under complete lockdown for the past 20 days.

Due to strict curfew and other restrictions in Occupied Kashmir, there has been a shortage of milk, medicine and essential items for children, along with this, the occupying army has also started a series of violence against the Kashmiri protesters protesting against these measures.

Criticizing all these situations on social media is not tolerated by the Indian government, the accounts of those tweeting about the situation in Occupied Kashmir are also being suspended. In Pakistan, the Twitter accounts of many prominent personalities have been closed for raising their voices against Indian atrocities, which the government of Pakistan also took notice of.

Twitter has now also suspended the account of director Nabeel Qureshi, about whom he reported on Instagram and wrote that his account was suspended for raising his voice against Kashmiri atrocities. Nabeel Qureshi has so far directed several super hit films of Pakistan including ‘Namaoum Nadar’, ‘Actor in Law’, ‘Namaoum Nadar 2’ and ‘Loud Wedding’.

The number of followers on the suspended account of Nabeel Qureshi was more than 20 thousand, while his biography also contained an article related to his film career, however, Twitter management took immediate action on the complaint of a certain Indian group.

Earlier, Twitter also suspended the account of Pakistan TV and Radio host Faseeh Zaki. The Twitter administration has faced severe criticism for its efforts to suppress voices against Indian atrocities and many users have demanded immediate reinstatement of their accounts.

Some quarters believe that Indian nationals working in important positions in Twitter and other social media websites are involved in suppressing the voice of Pakistani and Kashmiri users.
