Commenting on the uproar caused by his statements a few days ago and his criticism of the political class in his country and the affirmation of his belonging to the Emirates, the Lebanese artist, Ragheb Alama, confirmed that it was the politicians of Lebanon who destroyed him, as he put it.

He added, in a statement to “Al Arabiya.net”, that these people did not, and will not, and will never represent him, referring to the officials, amid the stifling crisis that his country has been witnessing for years that afflicted all aspects of life.

He also added that homeland means dignity, and not just a patch of land, considering that “whoever does not like his statements, let him drink from the sea,” according to him.

“traitors”

In addition, he saw that Lebanese officials have become witnesses to the humiliation of the people, without moving a finger, which is considered a “betrayal of the homeland.”

He also touched on the problems of electricity, water, medicine, gasoline and the problems of banks, referring to the depth of the crisis that Lebanon has been experiencing for years.
