The name of the actor playing the lead role in the fourth sequel of the famous Bollywood action thriller film Dhoom franchise has been revealed.
The first part of the film series Dhoom, made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the biggest production house of Bollywood, was released in 2004, in which John Abraham played the role of the villain.
A sequel to the franchise was made in 2006 with Hrithik Roshan in the lead role which was well received. The third film in the Dhoom series was released in 2013 starring Aamir Khan in the lead role.
After Dhoom 3, fans were eagerly waiting for the next sequel of this film and now there is good news in this regard.
Rumors were circulating in the Indian media for a long time that Dhoom 4 is going to be made soon and it is likely that Shahrukh Khan or Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the lead role.
However, now the Indian media is confirming that Ranbir Kapoor is being cast in Dhoom 4 and he will play the lead role in the film.
Ranbir had also expressed his desire to work in the Dhoom franchise in the past.
On the other hand, there is bad news for Abhishek Bachchan’s fans that Abhishek, who has always played the role of a police officer in the Dhoom franchise, and his co-star Uday Chopra will not be seen in Dhoom 4.
According to Indian media reports, some new actors will be given the role of police instead of these two.
The report stated that the film is in the pre-production stage, with no further details regarding the start of shooting and other cast. However, the film is likely to release in late 2025 or early 2026.
