The woman who died following being attacked with a chemical by her ex-partner in the Mayorca shopping center in the municipality of Sabaneta, Antioquia, was identified as Maryori Muñoz Sánchez.

Muñoz, 40 years old, had two children, the product of another relationship, and was a graduate of the Business Administration program of the María Cano University Foundation. Before the attack, she worked, precisely, as an administrator of the Matiz, Salud y Belleza Aesthetic Center, located in the shopping center, where her ex-partner came to kill her.

The people who cared for the woman and her attacker were also infected by the chemical. Only in the shopping center, three more people expressed general malaise. These are two uniformed officers who responded to the emergency call and a member of the Fire Department of this town. The list of those affected increased with the passing of the hours.

Through a press release, Clínica Las Américas stated that the medical and healthcare personnel presented headache, vomiting and dizziness. In another report it was clarified that those affected are out of danger.
