The man was identified as Víctor Hugo Euristeo, 50 years old, who was originally from the city of Rosario but had lived in Charata for a long time.
The victim’s body was found on the side of National Route 89, at kilometer 252, on a rural road that leads to a garbage dump.
According to the authorities, Euristeo was inside his vehicle – a Toyota Hilux truck. with stab wounds to the face, head and neck, as well as a broken jaw.
The case was in charge of the prosecutor of Criminal Investigation 3 of Charata, Fernando Ojeda, who labeled the file as “Homicide with cruelty.” After the first investigations, The man’s body was transferred to the judicial morgue, in Resistencia, to perform the corresponding autopsy.
