A man died yesterday, Monday, due to the overturning of the truck in which he was traveling on Route 51, near the compensating levee. He was traveling with two other people, who would be his uncles, who suffered injuries and were admitted to the Centenario hospital.

As reported by Centenario Digital, the man who died was Cristian Gastón Salazar, 36, a native of Rincón de los Sauces.

They detailed that Salazar was traveling in a Toyota Hilux truck with a double cabin, in an east-west direction. For reasons that are still being investigated, around 6:40 p.m., the vehicle left the asphalt and ended up overturning in the cabin.

According to the local media, the fatal victim was thrown from the vehicle, apparently for not wearing a seat belt.

The men were assisted by those who transit the place, mainly workers from oil companies. Although it was difficult for them to communicate and clarify the place of the rollover, they were finally able to do so.

Firefighters and personnel from the Centenario hospital arrived at the scene of the road accident, together with transit police and the Vista Alegre police station.
