According to the Medicines Authority, the groups most in need of the influenza vaccine annually include:

1- Seniors aged 65 years and above.​

2- Children under two years of age.​

3- People who suffer from excessive obesity.​

4- People under the age of 19 who take medications containing aspirin or salicylates long-term.

5- People with a weakened immune system due to disease (such as people with AIDS, or some types of cancer such as leukemia) or medications (such as those receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy for cancer, or people with chronic conditions that require treatment with chronic corticosteroids). Or other medications that suppress the immune system).​

6- Pregnant women and two weeks after the end of pregnancy.​

7- People living in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.​

8- Health care providers.​

9- People who have had a stroke.​

1-0 Asthma patients and those who have chronic lung diseases (such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)).​

11- Patients with neurological conditions and disturbed nervous development.​

12- Patients with blood disorders (such as sickle cell disease).​

13- Patients with endocrine disorders (such as diabetics).​

14- Heart patients (such as congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure, and coronary artery disease).​

15- Those who suffer from kidney disease and liver disorders.​

16- Patients with metabolic disorders (such as inherited metabolic disorders and mitochondrial disorders).​
