Tran used to be a regular guest of the Star Ballroom Dance Studio, the ex-wife and longtime acquaintance of the suspect told CNN.
Tran’s ex-wife said she met Tran regarding two decades ago at the Star Ballroom, a popular gathering place where he teaches informal dance.
