Who is the Saudi prisoner in “Guantanamo Bay” for 20 years who is “mad” that America decided to hand over to the Kingdom?

Al-Marsad newspaper: CNN revealed the US authorities’ decision to transfer the Saudi detainee at Guantanamo Bay, Muhammad Al-Qahtani, to a psychiatric clinic in the Kingdom, following his mental health severely declined.
torture to madness
“After his arrest (Al-Qahtani) nearly two decades ago, he was imprisoned and tortured by the US government, and when the charges once morest him were dropped in 2008, he was left behind bars,” the network said.
Al-Qahtani was transferred to Saudi Arabia
“The Periodic Review Board has recommended that (Al-Qahtani) be released and transferred to a psychiatric facility in Saudi Arabia, that his continued detention is no longer necessary to protect once morest a significant threat to US security, and that he recognizes that the detainee poses a certain level of threat in light of his previous activities and associations.”
The network continued: “The Council understands that Saudi Arabia can provide comprehensive mental health care for prisoner Muhammad al-Qahtani and noted its ability to monitor the detainee following completing the rehabilitation program.”
The council recommended the application of certain conditions for al-Qahtani’s return to Saudi Arabia, such as a “comprehensive set of security measures including surveillance and travel restrictions.”
He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder
Al-Qahtani’s lawyer confirmed that he suffers from schizophrenia, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, as a result of the torture he was subjected to in the American prison, and they fought a protracted legal battle to return him to Saudi Arabia.
It is worth noting that America said that “Al-Qahtani” was one of the elements of “Al-Qaeda” who planned to be the “20th hijacker” in the September 11 attack, but failed to board United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in the countryside of Pennsylvania.
