Iman Khalif was born in the late 1990s to an ordinary family in the north-western state of Tirat, Algeria.

Iman, who lived a simple life, spent her childhood in the village of Fida, where she lived with her family in a brick house. In the village where Iman grew up, it was difficult for girls to leave ordinary homes, and it was considered inappropriate. Only the boys used to jump freely in the fields.

According to BBC, Iman was fond of playing football, she used to play football with the village boys. The boys Iman used to play soccer with, he protected them and fought with people who found it offensive for Iman to play with the boys.

However, Iman did not have the rent money to go to the training center and to collect the rent money, she was forced to sell bread and couscous (a type of wheat) in the streets along with her mother. Iman’s paternal grandfather had a huge hand in his career. There was a time when Iman could not complete his training due to some reason and there were other problems in front of him then his paternal uncle took him home with her.

According to BBC, when Iman went to live at her maternal grandmother’s house, she did not have a single dinar. To make ends meet, she used to sell ‘scrap’ of copper. However, people around him supported him a lot. Iman’s uncle and cousins ​​used to take him to the training center.
