The 40-year-old British former model and now Marchioness of Cholmondeley has been friends with Prince William for many years and is a friend of his wife, Princess Kate. And, it’s worth noting, this is not the first time the Prince of Wales has been credited with having an affair with this lady.
Rumors regarding an alleged romantic relationship between William and Rose appeared following the British Royal Palace stopped saying anything regarding the health of Princess Catherine, and she was last seen in public at Christmas in 2023.
According to one conspiracy theory, Kate left William because he had an affair with her friend Rose.

Where did the gossip start?
This is all thanks to Stephen Colbert, who mentioned this on his Late Show with Stephen Colbert, an American late-night talk show on CBS.
“The kingdom is worried regarding the disappearance of Kate Middleton. Well, now internet sleuths are speculating that Kate’s absence may be connected to an affair between her husband and the future King of England, William,” Stephen said on air. And away we go. A huge number of memes on social networks and an endless amount of gossip regarding Prince William’s personal life and Kate’s “tragedy”.
By the way, the first rumors that Prince William was not faithful to his wife appeared back in 2019, and then Rose Hanbury was also involved in this story. The information has not been officially confirmed.
Kate and Rose Relationship
In fact, Rose Cholmondeley and her husband David Cholmondeley live near Wales in Norfolk in the historic mansion Houghton Hall. They are not just neighbors, but also friends. This means that they often see each other in a private family setting. Last August, they wrote that Princess Kate secretly had fun at Rose’s party without Prince William.

The lady was seen at the coronation of King Charles III, and her son Lord Oliver was the monarch’s page of honor. She also attended the funerals of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022 and Prince Philip in 2021.

And together with the Princess of Wales, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley is the patron of the East Anglia Children’s Hospices charity.
