Who is Mario Delgado, the next Secretary of Education?

MEXICO CITY.- Claudia Sheinbaumvirtual president-elect, presented four more members of her cabinet, including the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgadoas the new owner of the Secretary of Public Education (SEP).

Who is Mario Delgado?

Mario Delgado Carrillo was born on June 17, 1972 in Colima.

He graduated with a degree in Economics from Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), with a specialty in Econometrics from the Essex University of England.

His career in public service began in 1995.

He was a militant of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), where he held various positions as well as others in the López Obrador administration such as Head of Government in the Federal District.

In 2020 he was appointed national leader of Morenaparty founded by AMLO.

Mario Delgado’s career

Delgado Carrillo began his career as an analyst in the Undersecretariat of Revenue of the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit.

He was Technical Secretary of the Budget Commission in the Chamber of Deputies during the LVII Legislature.

During the management of AMLO As head of the capital’s government, Delgado served as Director of Information Technology and Statistics of the Department of Public Security.
