After Mauricio Ochmann was involved in controversy over his love life, it was recently confirmed that the actor is giving love a chance with Lorena González Herrera, daughter of pharmaceutical businessman Víctor González Torres ‘Dr. Simi’. This following a series of messages they have dedicated to each other on Instagram. But who is he?

The first public displays of affection between Ochmann and Lorena González date back to early July of this year; the star of ‘Victoria’ left a heart-eyed face emoji in the comments section of a post, while Lorena did the same in a post of his with red heart emojis.

These reactions were considered as evidence of a possible romance between the American actor and the heiress of Víctor González.

Mauricio Ochmann’s new girlfriend is the daughter of pharmaceutical businessman Víctor González Torres. It is unknown when she was born, however, it is known that she is the youngest member of her family and that she has four siblings: Eugenia, Jessica, Clara and Víctor González Herrera.

According to the information available on her Instagram account, she is an actress, producer and social justice advocate. She is said to have studied a degree in Communication Sciences and in recent years has gained popularity for her interest in social issues. She is part of the Simi Planeta and Dr. Simi Foundation initiatives.

She also won an award at the LA Shorts International Film Festival for a short film inspired by gender violence: ‘Everyday Shit’. In this project she participated as director, screenwriter and actress.

Much information is unknown regarding Lorena González’s romances, however, it is speculated that several years ago she had a love relationship with the Mexican businessman Pepe Díaz (Eiza González’s ex-boyfriend), as well as a fleeting relationship with the Mexican soccer player Giovani Dos Santos (Belinda’s ex-boyfriend).

Hours before rumors regarding his alleged relationship with Lorena González began, the star of ‘El Chema’ held a meeting with the media at Mexico City’s International Airport where he discussed his possible reunion with Eugenio Derbez’s daughter.

“The relationship, you know that the family bond is very beautiful, it is also a very cool gift for Kai to see his parents acting and collaborating together,” he said.
