Al-Marsad newspaper: Citizen Anoud Al-Asmari became the first female football referee to bear the international badge, following she was selected to enter the international list of referees for the year 2023.
Al-Asmari began her career in the world of arbitration in 2018, as she managed many matches in the Saudi Women’s League during the current and past seasons.
And Al-Riyadh newspaper revealed that Al-Asmari was selected in the international list of referees for the year 2023, becoming the first Saudi wisdom to enter the list in history.
Al-Asmari was chosen to be the fourth referee in the final of the Saudi Women’s Football League last season.
