Al-Marsad Newspaper: The documentary program “Men of Abdulaziz” on “Saudi Arabia” channel sheds light on Abdul Mohsen Al-Farm, one of the men of the late founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, who participated in the decisive Battle of Sablah.
According to the “channel”, this battle had an important effect in cutting off the unrest, and blocking the path of those trying to stir up strife. King Abdul Aziz at the time ordered that Abdul Mohsen Al-Firam be an official and a prince of horses, because of his wisdom and toughness.
The head of the Saud bin Muhammad al-Farum Dome Center said: “King Abdul Aziz – may God have mercy on him – used to choose knights in decisive battles such as the Battle of Sablah, and the leaders of the knights were Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman, brother of King Abdul Aziz, and Abdul Mohsen Al-Farm.
He added, the name of Abdul Mohsen Al-Farm was mentioned in many historical sources that talk regarding the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the leaders and men of King Abdulaziz.
He continued, the Battle of As-Sabla broke out on the morning of the 19th of Shawwal in the year 1347 AH and lasted until midday, with Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud and Abdul Mohsen Al-Farm leading the cavalry.
