The Guaranteed Minimum Income for this 2023 It will be able to provide support to thousands of Colombian citizens in order to reduce poverty, which up to now has proven to be efficient, decreasing the poverty and extreme poverty rates by 1.9 and 2.3, respectively.
As pointed out by the Bogota City Hallwho are in charge of delivering this economic benefit, the Guaranteed Minimum Income will provide support to 280 thousand households and it can be collected through the District Secretary of Social Integration.

Who are the beneficiaries of the Guaranteed Minimum Income?
As we mentioned above the beneficiaries are the poorest and most vulnerable householdskeep in mind that to access the Guaranteed Minimum Income you must have some requirements:
- Be registered in the Bogotá Sisbén
- Being part of groups A or B of Sisbén IV
- Have an active account with financial institutions that have an agreement with the District Treasury Secretariat. Entities such as Davivienda (Daviplata), Bancolombia (Ahorro a la Mano – ALM and Nequi), Movii, Banco de Occidente (Dale) and Powwi.
How much is the amount of the Guaranteed Minimum Income?
Households benefiting from this economic subsidy do not receive the same amount equally. Therefore, the Guaranteed Minimum Income (IMG) does not have a fixed charge.
The idea of this economic support is that those who need it most receive more and those who need it least receive less. Until now, the maximum amount has been $740,000 and the minimum was $60,000.
