The Syrian child Abd al-Rahim al-Halabi, who participated in The Voice Kids program nearly six years ago, has become a young man, as he spoke in his latest appearance regarding many artworks and their stars.
Al-Halabi said that any of the audience who meets him talks to him, “Your voice is bigger, changed than before,” pointing out that there are those who love his voice and others prefer his voice when he was a child.
He revealed that he is now 17 years old, and is preparing himself for the next year to obtain a baccalaureate / high school diploma, expressing his great love for his compatriot Muhammad Majzoub and the Lebanese Adam.
And Abd al-Rahim al-Halabi indicated that he is influenced by the singer Umm Kulthum, and he memorizes regarding 110 of her songs, other than her songs that he knows and hears and has not memorized until now.
Al-Halabi also criticized, in statements to the “Trend” website, the state of singing at the present time, commenting: “People no longer hear with their ears, they hear with their waist.” It is preferable for the public to associate it with the art of the good time.
Al-Halabi pointed out that it is difficult to hold a party for tarab singing only.
He explained that many listeners want the singer Wadih Al-Sheikh and the like, pointing out that he loves the Sheikh’s success and how he defied his circumstances, but he does not like the color of singing he presents.
Abdel Rahim Al-Halabi participated in The Voice Kids at the age of ten, and received the votes of the jury, Kazem El-Saher, Nancy Ajram and Tamer Hosni in the “Sound Only” stage.
At the time, Nancy Ajram tried to include him in her team, as she was the first to take her chair to him, followed by Tamer Hosni and then Kazem Al-Saher, but Al-Halabi chose to be part of Al-Saher’s team.
The artist Abdel Rahim Al-Halabi had released his song “Sadafa Shefata” last year, which was written and composed by Safwan Balloul and distributed by Joseph Mosleh.
He filmed the song in the manner of a video clip directed by Salim El-Mir, and the song bears an emotional and romantic character.
